SOCIAL PROJECT
A multi-channel, voluntary awareness campaign created during the Covid-19 quarantine to promote Brazil’s 180 domestic violence hotline, combining physical distribution, digital support resources and televised coverage to increase accessibility.

In Brazil, domestic violence reports increased nearly 40% during the Covid-19 quarantine, with femicide cases rising over 22% in early lockdown months. The campaign aimed to increase visibility of the national 180 support hotline at a time when victims faced reduced access to help.
We created a bold poster clearly displaying the 180 hotline, with visual artwork developed by an artist colleague. I led the campaign messaging, coordinated distribution and helped develop a landing page linked via QR code, which provided accessible information and support paths.
During quarantine, supermarkets and residential buildings were among the few spaces still accessible, so we reached out directly to store managers and building administrations to request permission to display the posters across Curitiba.
To expand reach digitally, we shared the campaign on Instagram, contacting influencers who amplified the message across their platforms. As awareness grew, we secured both digital press coverage and TV interviews, where I participated as spokesperson.
