Egg Connect reimagines the donor experience by replacing a fragmented system with a structured digital journey. Using customer journey mapping and market insights, we designed a concept app that empowers donors and helps clinics deliver consistent and supportive care
A concept app developed for an Entrepreneurship module, where our team was tasked with identifying a real problem and designing a digital solution. We focused on the egg donation process, a system full of inefficiencies and information gaps.
We began by mapping the existing user journey and uncovered four major issues: inefficiency, inconsistent communication, fragmented information, and a lack of transparency. Customer research revealed uncertainty, slow processes and limited clarity at key stages.
Our strategy was to design a unified digital experience that addressed each pain point. Features such as the timeline, appointment scheduling, donor profile and digital documents were built from the problems surfaced through research.
We then assessed market viability, legal considerations and the clinic ecosystem to ensure the solution was feasible and attractive to the market.
